From the brilliant comedic mind of
Christopher Titus was born the outrageous sitcom "Titus". A
semi-autobiographical Fox comedy starred Christopher Titus as
himself, Cynthia Watros as Erin, his understanding girlfriend, Zack
Ward as his wacky brother Dave and the fabulous Stacy Keach as his
abusive, alcoholic father Ken. His estranged mother was played
by several actresses in the show. The show was narrated by
Titus and was loosely based on his life growing up in a totally
dysfunctional family. While the show provided many laughs it
could still be heart-wrenching if you remembered these situations
may have actually happened.
But, as Titus once said, he had to find humor in his life or he'd
have gone mad. Luckily for us, he chose humor, but
unfortunately, Titus never quite found it's audience and the show
was canceled much too quickly. |
